First, let's look at how the A20D compares to the F10. The A20D comes fully equipped from the start with a built-in tachometer, vibration sensor, and bearing temperature monitoring. On the F10, vibration and tachometer are only available as optional add-ons, and there is no option at all for bearing temperature monitoring. The A20D also uses a direct-to-drive system that requires no oil lubrication. That means there's no risk of oil contamination and far less maintenance demand. And finally, the A20D is a fully manufactured machine, while the F10 is still built with cast-iron components. This gives the A20D an advantage in both hygiene and long-term durability. Second, when we compare the A20D with the F15D, the upgrade becomes even more straightforward. Replacing an F15D with an A20D is essentially plug-and-play. All existing automation signals can be reused, which reduces installation time, minimizes complexity, and significantly lowers investment costs. The A20D also offers much higher hygiene standards. The F15D is stainless steel, but it does not have 3.1 certification. Without that certification, the risk of micro-cracks, and therefore contamination, is higher. Serviceability also improves. In the F15D, the motor and spindle are two separate units, each requiring its own maintenance. The A20D's integrated design simplifies those maintenance intervals and reduces overall complexity. On top of that, the A20D features a significantly upgraded air and gas-to-wheel system, delivering better performance, improved efficiency, and more precise process control. Third, let's look at replacing the FS15 with the A20D. Here again, existing automation signals, such as the tachometer, can be reused. This makes the conversion straightforward and limits the amount of modification required. From a hygiene perspective, the A20D provides a substantial improvement. The FS15 is built with cast iron and does not carry 3.1 certification, which makes it more susceptible to micro-cracks and contamination risks. Just like the F15D, the FS15 also separates its motor and spindle, meaning each requires individual servicing. The A20D's integrated configuration reduces maintenance work and increases overall reliability. And, as with the previous comparison, the A20D includes the upgraded air and gas-to-wheel system for more efficient performance and better process control. Finally, it's important to note that the F35 is not a one-to-one replacement for the A20D. Installing an A20D in place of an F35 requires modifications to the gas disperser, updates to automation signals, and the use of new atomizer wheels with a 210mm diameter. Because of these differences, the A20D cannot simply be swapped in without additional engineering changes.
